Our dedicated staff of professionally-trained, early care and
education practitioners and assistants are selected for their

PreSchool PLUS is a not for profit organization committed to continuing the tradition of quality early care and education. The programs at PreSchool PLUS are overseen by a Board of Directors, consisting of parents, staff, and members of the community. There is a Chair, Treasurer and Secretary. The Board of Directors provides support to the Director.

Mission and History
At PreSchool PLUS we provide a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for our children. We believe in learning through play with a balance between independence and structure. Our program addresses the whole child: cognitive, social, emotional, physical and psychological development. Our multicultural, diverse, age-appropriate instructional approach stresses the importance of respecting and honoring all children as individuals.
PreSchool PLUS, incorporated in 1985, is an early learning program located in Grace Epiphany Church in the Mt. Airy neighborhood of Philadelphia. Although it is not a church affiliated program, it does enjoy a supportive relationship with the church community. From the earliest days at PreSchool PLUS our goal has consistently been is to ensure our program represents the best attributes in child care.
